As any paddler
knows, time on a river is time well spent. That's particularly true of the Peace River, whose dreamy waters can soothe the spirit and invite quiet contemplation.

The beautiful Peace River offers fishing, swimming, hiking trails, fossil hunting, and of course, canoeing and kayaking. Arcadia is just a short drive from Orlando, Tampa, the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, Naples, Sarasota, Bradenton, and Fort Myers. Find a little peace on the Peace River! Arcadia was named best place to canoe by Florida Monthly Magazine Readers.
