Thank you for supporting Florida’s paddling trails.

We’re grateful to our Individual and Family members. They are what keeps our organization afloat.

Individual and Family Memberships

The Florida Padding Trails Association is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization. Without our Volunteers and Members, the FPTA would not exist.

Please consider joining the FPTA.

Why Should I Join The Florida Paddling Trails Association (FPTA)?

  • To be part of a state-wide family of paddlers!

o You become part of a statewide network of paddlers and the businesses, clubs, agencies, and local communities that support

    you.

o Connect with paddlers, and stay informed about paddling events, and new water trails through our newsletters and Facebook

    page.

o Wear FPTA Merch to let others know you are part of the family!

  • TOGETHER, we provide grants to qualified outfitters who educate our next generation of paddlers and caretakers of Florida’s waterways.

o 20% of your membership and 40% of our merch/store sales goes directly to FPTA’s Taylor Howard Youth Paddling Fund.

  • With access to more than 11,000 miles of mapped waterways and 1,100 trails in Florida, we have,

without a doubt, the premier collection of places to paddle in the State.

o Find your next paddling adventure using our powerful search function (no ads!)

o Download/print accurate maps and information sheets, verified by experienced FPTA volunteers (FREE compared to All-Trails

    $35.99 per year).

o Use the interactive launch site maps to locate details for paddle craft launch and boat ramp (directions, fees, bathroom facility)

    information.

o Download FREE KMZ routes for your Garmin or In-Reach GPS.

  • Help us represent paddlers like you!

o FPTA Volunteers collaborate with state, city, and local agency partners, to provide professional advice for developing dedicated

paddle craft launch sites and campsites.

o FPTA works with communities to develop and showcase their water trails; properly managed ecotourism is a win for paddlers

    and local economies.

  • Your membership supports the machine that runs our awesome website, merch/store, and other important administrative costs.
