Paddle on the Styx River during Paddlefest 2024.

Mark your calendar! Paddlefest 2025 will be April 15-18 at Tomoka State Park. Our annual event will have education, tales from the CT, paddle awards, networking, food (lots) and paddling!

Some of the anticipated paddles include:

  • Tomoka River: A narrow, canopied paddle into the coastal marsh near Tomoka State Park. Because of its scenic quality, it’s a State designated Florida Paddling Trail.

  • Bulow Creek: Flows past the historic Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park. Most of this area is wild and scenic and is also a State designated Florida Paddling Trail.

  • Pellicer Creek: One of the most pristine estuarine tidal marshes on the east coast of Florida. Abundant salt and fresh water fish, and excellent wildlife viewing. More than 100 bird species can be spotted during the spring and fall migrations. Resident

herons, egrets and wood storks can be seen year round.

If you stay at the FPTA group site (limited number), camping is free. Cost is be the same as Paddlefest 2024 - $100 FPTA members, $125 non-members (includes a 1 year FPTA membership). Registration opens early 2025, look for the email announcement.
